How can I remove cookies from Internet Explorer?Aug 27, 2008 |
|
 A lot of people know what is computer cookie and many of them interested in easiest way of removing them. First of all I need to say that this article assigned to users of Windows Internet Explorer. Not Firefox, Not Opera. Just to Internet Explorer which is installed on any Windows by default.
Here is step by step instruction:
1. Run Internet Explorer. Find out its shortcut located on the programs menu or your Desktop (I'm not sure where you have it, but its not important where, its important to launch it!)
2. When Internet Explorer open (with your homepage) in front of you take a look at the top of Internet Explorer window. You should notice menu bar. It contain menu items such as: File, Edit, View, Favorites and Tools.
3. Click menu Tools. Drop down list with sub-menus will appear.
4. Click submenu Internet Options. You will see new window which is looks like in screenshot attached to this article on your left.
5. Click Delete Cookies button on that new window and you're done!
Note that this way will destroy all cookies located in Internet Explorer and Windows (its the same things, located in the same place!).
You can also get to that window with Delete Cookies button next way:
1. Click button Start on your Desktop
2. Select Control Panel
3. Select Network and Internet Connections
4. Pick Internet Options
5. Click Delete Cookies button
I hope that you understand that there is a lot of issues that arise from removing cookies, for example you will need to type your logins and passwords again at some web sites. To remove cookies automatically you should try some special solutions.
